TCS does not require Freshmen-Juniors to take the PSAT Test; it is optional. Therefore, sign-ups will be taken in the office.

SAT & ACT TESTING 

Colleges and universities, even many private ones, are becoming more and more competitive. To help your student be as desirable as possible to the institution of his or her choice, high SAT and/or ACT scores are a must. Some sophomores take these tests to get a jump start, but the knowledge required is more geared toward what the average junior and senior would have covered. Definitely, juniors should take both the SAT and the ACT during their spring semester. Anyone thinking of attending a UC needs to take the SAT II Subject Exam; as well as perhaps taking the SAT in the late fall. No later than November, seniors need to retake whichever exam they did best on in the previous year. Almost all schools will accept either exam, so finding the one your student feels more comfortable with will go a long way to achieving the best score possible.
