Small Schools to Meet in All-Star Game

All-star football players from Turlock Christian will face off against all-star players from Denair and Delhi Saturday night at the Small Schools North-Sourth All-Star Game at Modesto Junior College.
Nolan Bryant and Josh Piper of Turlock Christian will be playing for the North team and Turlock Christian head football coach Rusty Lyon will be coaching.
"We're really coming together," said Lyon. "We have incredible speed and I look forward to seeing them play a game."
Piper was voted Lineman of the Year in the Mountain Valley League last fall and will be playing for Merced College in the fall.
Bryant had almost 500 rushing yards last season.
According to Lyon he had a great season last year and volunteered to play defensive line for the all-star game, a position he has never played before. |
