CAR POOL BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL DROP-OFF & PICK-UP PROCEDURES
Please Note: No student should ever be dropped off at the Playground before 8am, as there is NO supervision until 8am. Any child on campus before 8am needs to be signed into the Extended Day Care Program (EDC) in Room 7. For Extended Day Care Program fees, please view our Financial Policy. Extended Day Care hours are 7:30am-6:00pm. Please check the weekly Parent's Page for minimum day schedules.
If you wish to visit the School Office for any reason, park in the front lot off Johnson Road and walk your children to and from the playground area; then visit the office. Parking on the School Office side is reserved for teachers and staff. Please do not drop off or pick up your children on this side. View our Visitor Policy for additional information.
In addition, CrossroadsChurch has reserved the parking spaces in front of their offices for their staff and guests. Please do not park in any of these designated spaces.
If students are not picked up after school within 15 minutes, they will be sent to the Extended Day Care Room 7.
KINDERGARTEN DROP-OFF & PICK-UP PROCEDURES: Kindergarteners are picked up and dropped off in the two lanes in front of Kindergarten Room 1. The inside lane is for parents to park and walk their child to and from the classroom. Please limit parking to 5 minutes. The outside lane is for drop-off and drive-though only. Please do NOT doublepark in this outside lane as it blocks anyone from being able to continue through the lane. There is NO parking at the chain link gate.
GRADES 1-6 BEFORE SCHOOL DROP-OFF PROCEDURES: Grades 1-6 may be dropped off on the south side of Arbor Way near the two gates of the playground area. If you park on the North side of Arbor, please escort your child across the street. Their safety is our number one priority. Also, please do NOT block the driveways of our neighbors on Arbor Way. If your child's classroom is in one of the Modulars next to the playground, please do NOT drop them off in the alley. It is extremely dangerous for the children who walk to school by way of this alley.
GRADES 1-6 AFTER SCHOOL PICK-UP PROCEDURES: Grades 1-6 parents may enter the southern-most drive off Johnson Road and proceed to the back of the school building to the gate area, forming two lines for pick-up. At the gate, give the name and grade of the student(s) you are picking up. Following the markers, proceed in two lines to the loading area in the middle of the asphalt. Student(s) will be with their classes and waiting to get into your car. Once your child is in your car, please wait until you are released to continue out to the street (Arbor Way). If your children must load backpacks into the trunk, please notify the Carpool Director, who will motion you to pull over and then have your child wait until you park off to the side.You may change lanes inside the fence when safe, exiting onto Arbor Way, turning right from the right lane and left from the left lane.
Rainy & Windy Day Car Pool: On extremely rainy and windy days, Car Pool will be cancelled. A sign will be posted at the driveway notifying parents. Please park in the east parking lot (playground area) and walk to your child's classroom to pick them up.
VISITOR POLICY
All parents and visitors must sign into the office if you will be on campus and/or going into classrooms during school hours. Visitors will be asked to wear a pass to help students recognize who is 'okay' to be on campus. Thank you for keeping our campus safe for our students!
