John Nelson is the High School Principal. Mr. Nelson has had a long and varied career on the local education scene. He taught band and choir at Livingston High School from 1966-78 before leaving there to become Turlock Christian's jr/sr high vice-principal. During his eight years of service at Turlock Christian, Mr Nelson additionally served as elementary principal, and superintendent (1983-86). Since then, Mr. Nelson has taught at Livingston and Pitman High Schools. Visit our High School Home Page.

Joan Burnam has returned to TCS after spending the last five years in Mexico as a missionary for CAM along with her husband, Rick, and their four children. Mrs. Burnam teaches 7th Grade Bible, Jr High Spanish and Science.

Jaime Smith joined the Turlock Christian School staff in 2007 as the Jr/Sr High School Librarian. Mrs. Smith's husband, Bradley, also joined the faculty at the Jr/Sr High Campus in 2007. Mrs. Smith graduated from CSUS with a B.A. in English in June, 2006. As an undergraduate student, she spent several years tutoring college students at both the MJC and CSUS Writing Centers. In addition to tutoring experience, Mrs. Smith spent several years working at KCSS, the CSUS radio station, where she helped organize the radio station's music library.
