School Board
The purpose of the School Board is to see that TCS achieves its Ends and avoids unacceptable situations.
The job of the School Board is to represent the owners (God and Christians who share a passion for the mission of TCS) who actively support the doctrinal statement and mission of the school, in determining and demanding appropriate organization performance.
The School Board shall govern with an emphasis on (a) biblically-based integrity and truthfulness in all methods, (b) outward vision rather than an internal preoccupation, (c) strategic leadership more than administrative detail, (d) clear distinction of board and superintendent roles, (e) collective rather than individual decisions, (f) future vision rather than dwelling on past events, and (g) proactivity rather than reactivity. |
