Ends Evaluation Results
Working with their teachers, the K-6 and 7-12 principals conducted an evaluation of End 1.1 and 1.5. The results of this evaluation are provided below. The scores for End. 1.1 are reported using a 3-point rubric, with 1 being poor, 2 being satisfactory and 3 being excellent. The evaluation was done by using a combination of confidential student surveys and teacher observations.
End 1.5, "Community Servants" was reported to the board and moral owners anecdotally on October 27, 2008. In summary, in 2007-08, the high school added community service as a graduation requirement, which resulted in virtually every student reaching out to the local community. Additionally, the high school took its first out-of-country missions trip, with nineteen students ministering in the Dominican Republic for two weeks. Outreach was also done by elementary and junior high school students primarily during the Christmas holidays.
