Turlock Christian Volleyball Section Champs!!

Davis - The Turlock Christian Eagles are the Sac-Joaquin Section Volleyball champions.

The Eagles dispatched Forest Lake Christian of Auburn, 25-18, 25-15, 25-14 on Thursday (Nov 16) at Cal Davis to wrap up their dream season.

  

 The Eagles came out with a lot of excitement in anticipation of the match against the No. 1 seed in the section playoffs.  This was the fourth time in as many years that the Turlock Christian team has made the final game. 

Many of the players stated that their comeback win against Woodland Christian on Tuesday helped them focus on the match against Forest Lake Christian

 
    The consistency that the Eagles has shown throughout the year has come from the front row play that includes Mallory Iltis, Lyndzie Spycher, Greta Gonzales, (Biancs) Davoodian and (Kendra) Hanson.  On offense, the front five with 13 kills and defensively by Iltis with 4 blocks.
