Athletics
In addition to academics, TCS encourages and seeks to promote the physical, spiritual, and intellectual development of our athletes. Good sporting events can add an enriching quality to life and family activities. To that end, our Athletic Program exists to support the spiritual mission of Turlock Christian Schools and to assist students in their athletic growth and development. While competition is natural, TCS strives to remind all athletes to play his or her best for the glory of God; for it is on the athletic field or court we become the true winners for Christ! The challenge to all athletes is to strive to go beyond their expectations, while always remembering God comes first. In addition to team sports, TCS also requires physical education classes for all students.
"Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last;
but we do it to get a crown that will last forever." 1 Corinthians 9:25-27

Athlete 'Away-Game' Transportation Policy: Athletes may NOT ride with anyone other than their parent/guardian after an away game. If they are leaving the game with their parent/guardian, athletes must check in with their coach and sign-off with the bus driver. All other athletes MUST ride home on the bus. They may be picked up by another family after the bus arrives back at the school.
TCS's Athletes' Commitment: Pursuing Victory with Honor:
- Whether you are playing or not, all members must remain supportive of each other and recognize that individual sacrifice is directly related to the team’s success. Team rule: suspended players are to attend games, sit with the team, and not dress down.
- All players are expected to attend every game whether they anticipate playing or not. Those who choose not to finish the season should be prepared to give up possible awards.
- Abusive language directed towards officials, players or coaches at any time will not be tolerated.
- A ticket is a privilege to observe and support high school activities. It is not a license to verbally assault others or act obnoxious
- Respect decisions made by game officials.
- Respect fans, coaches and participants.
- Be an exemplary role model by positively supporting teams in every manner possible.
- BE A FAN...NOT A FANATIC
