The members of the Turlock Christian School Board are community leaders who are also fully invested TCS parents.

Mike Poirier
Board Chair
Mike Poirier attended Fresno Pacific University and received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Currently, Mike is the Vice President of Consumer and Commercial Loans for Patelco Credit Union.

Johanna Fischer
Board Vice Chair
Johanna is a graduate of California State University, Sacramento where she received her Bachelor’s of Art degree in Interior Design.
Johanna Fischer currently owns and operates Milk Made Dairy and Gravelstone Ranch. She is partners with her husband at Tierra Buena Ranch and is a Founder of Valley Milk LLC.
Prior to her current role, Johanna’s career had been as an independent designer in Commercial Lighting and Interior Design.

William F. York
Bill and his wife, Coree have been married since 2000 and have six children.
He is a Turlock native, who graduated from Turlock High School and California State University, Stanislaus with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration; Accounting.
Mr. York owns and operates an almond processing company where he fulfills the role of Chief Financial Officer. Prior to working in the Almond industry, Bill owned and operated an accounting firm for 20 years.
Bill and his family attend Hickman Community Church, where he has served as Treasurer for 15 years. Currently, Bill also serves as Turlock Christian’s Head Varsity Baseball Coach.

Cara Swanson
Board Secretary
Cara Swanson is a proud Turlock Christian School Alumni. Cara then graduated from California State University, Stanislaus with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and holds a Masters in Christian Education with an emphasis in Biblical Education and Apologetics from the Institute for Creation Research.
Currently, Mrs. Swanson serves as Vice President of Swanson Hulling Inc.

Linda Stuhmer
Linda is a graduate of University of Puget Sound and received her law degree from University of San Diego. She is licensed to practice law in California and Illinois.
Linda Stuhmer is currently serving as President and Chief Executive Officer of EMC Health, Inc. Concurrently, Linda serves as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Covenant Ministries of Benevolence.
Prior to her current role, Linda’s career has been in healthcare, biotech, pharmaceutical, banking and insurance – serving as in-house legal counsel.

Krista Nydam
Krista and her husband, Keith were married in 2001 and have two sons as well as permanent guardianship of a nephew and a niece. They currently live in Turlock and are co-owners of Dutch Nut Farms.
Krista is a graduate of Dordt College (1998) with a BS in Exercise Science, following with graduation at the University of the Pacific’s Physical Therapy program in 2001, and later a graduate of the University of Montana in 2016 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Krista has practiced direct patient rehabilitative care in multiple areas including Acute care, Outpatient, Subacute, Pediatrics, Geriatrics, and Ergonomics. Currently, Krista is a lecturer for CSU Stanislaus in the Kinesiology and Public Health Promotion Department instructing in Kinesiology and other movement study and health courses. Additionally, she continues to keep patient care skills and ergonomic specialty current with per diem positions locally and in the Bay Area.
Krista and her family attend Modesto Christian Reformed church and are involved in worship, sound, youth groups, and mission and disaster relief trips.

Aaron Wickstrom
Aaron is a graduate of North Park University in Chicago, IL where he received his Bachelor of Science in Finance. Prior to that he received his A.A. in Biblical and Theological Studies from Covenant Bible College Ecuador.
After attending college, Aaron returned to California in 2004. He currently co-owns and manages Wickstrom Dairies L.P. and Valsigna Farms. He also co-owns and serves on the Board of Directors of Hilmar Cheese Company.
Aaron and his wife Lauren currently reside in Hilmar with their three children.
